In Lord Krishna’s infinite creation lay many countless numbers of universes existing during a single exhale of maha Vishnu and destroyed again during another inhalation, within these infinite universes are a greater number of galaxies within each of these universes. Each of these galaxies is home to billions upon billions of stars and numerous planets. In one minute galaxy there is a planet known as earth, on this planet earth there are approximately 8400000 different species of life, and billions of population living in these specie groups. Out of the 8400000 species, in the specie group known as the human beings with a population count of well over 6 Billion, there is a single individual who thinks he is special.
After Hearing my above introduction to myself it really shows us how insignificant we really are, that for me to think that I am “special” would be optimistic to the point of stupidity. However the value of our significance somehow seems to be proportional to the amount of stress and suffering experienced in our daily lives
On the path of advancement obstacles are to be expected, this holds especially on the path of spiritual advancement. Advancement is determined by the obstacles we overcome: “Calm seas do not make a great sailor”. If the path of an individual who is aiming for advancement is obstacle free, He is definitely on the wrong path, or he is not advancing.
In a world of pain, suffering and continuous plagues of obstacles, what is the secret of those who succeed and come out of life unscathed?
The Secret is atma-nivedanama, complete surrender and dependence upon the lord. This does not mean we just sit back whenever a problem arises and do nothing but say “Krishna will take care of it”.
[BG 7.8]
raso ‘ham apsu kaunteya
prabhasmi sasi-suryayoh
pranavah sarva-vedesu
sabdah khe paurusam nrsu
TRANSLATION
O son of Kunti [Arjuna], I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable om in the Vedic mantras; I am the sound in ether and ability in man.
Here Krishna declares that He is the ability in man. We can not accomplish anything without Him, because not even a blade of grass moves without his sanction. We should all therefore completely surrender unto Krishna, the supreme personality of godhead, and our prayer should be for him to please grant us the “ability” to overcome the obstacles of material life, and we will then me certain for success.
One of the greatest attacks to be expected by material nature is the simple attack on our easily agitated minds, which not all of us have the capacity to overcome or resist.
If you worry, you die. If you don’t worry, you still die. So why worry?
Everything happens for a reason, every experience is a learning experience. In the material world the law of karma is prevalent: After every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction, as the bible says “as you sow shall you reap”.
You don’t always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve. The idea is to work to get what you want, Never Give Up! However all you NEED is Krishna!
Just surrender unto Krishna, for he promises we will never have anything to fear.
[BG18.66]
sarva-dharman parityajya
mam ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo
moksayisyami ma sucah
TRANSLATION
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear.
Another promise by the lord is that whomever surrenders unto Him, his devotee, Never Perish.

ksipram bhavati dharmatma
sasvac-chantim nigacchati
kaunteya pratijanihi
na me bhaktah pranasyati
TRANSLATION
He quickly becomes righteous and attains lasting peace. O son of Kunti, declare it boldly that My devotee never perishes.
And Last but not least [I always save the best for last]
